Term Four - Wearable Arts





Welcome to term four. This term our focus for innovations is "THE ARTS". Room 20 children have been looking at a variety of ways to showcase the wearable arts. So far we have designed and modelled some hats, accesories and last week we worked in small groups creating some wearable arts costumes. We had a fairy, warrior, samurai and some pretty girls costumes.

Welcome to Term 2

Welcome to term 2 and an exciting term of learning. Our term we will be learning about:
* Science and The Solar System
* Measurement - cm and m
* Geometry - tessellations and patterns
* Writing
* Lots of wonderful and exciting reading
* Cross Country
We also have student led conferences this term, where the children of room 20 will share their learning with you.

Welcome to 2010

Welcome to an exciting year of learning in room 20. We are lucky to have had our classroom renovated and we will be moving in on the 8th of March. From this date we will be starting funky maths for homework, reading and other activities when they arise. Please feel free to ask any questions you may have about our home work. I look forward to meeting all the parents and whanau in week 8 for our parent interviews.
